Ombak Machine takes the ancient art of Balinese gamelan, its shimmering detuned metallophones, its rapid interlocking kotekan rhythms, its massive ceremonial gongs, and fuses it directly into industrial hard techno. This isn't percussion borrowed for flavor. It's a real acoustic tradition, ombak's natural shimmering "wave" effect, rebuilt as an electric current running through a machine.
